Hydrogen powered cars are really still a thing of the future. They are not in common use and the potential uses are still being fully investigated however, certain car manufacturers have managed to acquire licenses to create and run hydrogen cars. While they are unlikely to be used in this way, hydrogen cars don't need to be 'filled' at your local hydrogen garage. Hydrogen is created through rotting vegetation or can even be produced from the water that the fuel cell itself produces. Small portable fuel cells or large static fuel cells can be created, meaning they can be used for virtually any purpose and not just for powering cars.
